  • We prepare the empanadas at Bread & Butter Kimberley Bakery. We use a certified commercial kitchen.
  • Chose up to 6 different fillings: Caprese, Mushroom fontina, Spinach feta, Sweet beans, Veggie pino or Grilled eggplant.
  • Ours empanadas weigh, in average, 125 gr. and measure 2.5 x4.5 inches.
  • Packages of two or four frozen empanadas.

Hi Folks!

My name is Igma, and I’m originally from the Atacama Desert in Chile. I’m a single dad living part-time with my two daughters in the beautiful Kootenay area. I enjoy making empanadas and experimenting with new fillings using local ingredients. I believe that animals, just like humans, deserve to be free and happy. This initiative aims to share the delicious food from the other end of the continent with everyone, contributing to making Canada a multicultural cuisine nation.

FAQ

We prepare ours empanadas in a certified commercial kitchen located at 5770 Cedar Cr Rd Winlaw, BC. Canada.

Preheat the oven to 420 ° F. Transfer the empanadas directly from the freezer to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the empanadas with egg wash. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brow, especially the folded edges. Remover and let them cool off for 5 -10 minutes. Enjoy and Buen Provecho!

Each empanadas weigh 150 gr. and measure 2.5 x4.5 inches. 2 empanadas and salad is very good for an adult lunch.  For children probably 2 are a good lunch and 1 for snack.
