What an excellent and energizing class. Not knowing anything about Empanadas, I love that the history was shared and different variations to create the dough and fillings were shared. The class itself was full of like minded and fun people that made it all the more engaging. Igma took care and attention to detail, explaining as we went along and corrected as needed to ensure we all left with amazingly tasty food. Highly recommend this class, your mind will be buzzing with so many ideas you can create.

Hosted by Igma

Hi Folks!

My name is Igma, and I’m originally from the Atacama Desert in Chile. I’m a single dad living part-time with my two daughters in the beautiful Kootenay area. I enjoy making empanadas and experimenting with new vegetarian fillings using local ingredients. I believe that animals, just like humans, deserve to be free and happy. This initiative aims to share the delicious food from the other end of the continent with everyone, contributing to making Canada a multicultural cuisine nation.
